I snapped this picture early in the morning as we were getting in the car to leave California behind us and start our trek to Kansas. I was, understandably, I hope, feeling a bit sentimental about everything that day, so I shot a few pictures to remember everything by. Because, when you think about it, it’s rather hard to drive to Kansas and miss Colorado and, you know, the Rocky Mountains. So, while this may not be the actual last chance to see mountains, it sure felt like it.
